Tiiiiiiime is on my side, yes it is...

Ok…yes, I know…it’s been a LONG time since I’ve placed an entry out here, but honestly…I’ve been a little busy! We just finished with Brittany’s graduation party and the prep just for that has left me pretty exhausted! It went very well and I honestly don’t know how many people came through the house, but it WAS full! We rented a tent and that really made such a difference!
Sometimes I can’t believe I have a daughter who is old enough to have graduated from High School! It doesn’t seem that long ago when she was going to elementary school…the multitude of projects, papers and concerts seem like one constant flow. As a child, Summers seemed like they lasted forever! Countless days chasing butterfly’s, finding caterpillars and digging worms to fish with. Summer’s used to drag by and usually towards the end…I was ready, eager even to return to school. But somewhere along the line the flow of time seems to have changed for me and now the years fly past and I find myself no longer with a little girl, but a woman. And I’m SO very proud of her! Her faith and firm beliefs are SO much greater than mine were at that age! She has handled adversity, trials and some very dark days and while scared, she has come out strong. No matter what age…she’ll ALWAYS be ‘my little girl’.
So now…it’s time to pack! We’ve purchased a house and we’ve started doing some painting. We have some new furniture in it already and some new appliances will be installed this week! With moving day being the 14th, we’ve got a lot to do! And then two weeks after that is the wedding! YIKES! Are we insane or what!?!? Please continue to pray as I have yet to find a job. The plan is that I will commute if necessary, but God has been SO good…SO faithful…and has blessed us SO much, that I KNOW He’s got the perfect job out there for me!

Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Deuteronomy 31:8 - The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Psalm 34:4 - I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 37:3-5, 7a - Trust in the Lord and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him.

Matthew 6:8b, 31-34 - Your father knows what you need before you ask him. So do not worry, saying 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today's trouble is enough for today.

Exodus 14:13a,14 - Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.

Ephesians 3:20-21 - Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!

New Year, New Look, Another Try

Lisa and my daughter Hope, both told me last night that they missed my blogging and that I should write again. So, I brought up the site...d...
