Christ is risen!

The Kids are off on Spring Break this week and Trevor spent a few days with his cousins, aunts, uncles and papa & nana back in Iowa. I missed him and it was kind of weirdly quite around the house at night without him here, but I am happy he was able to go! My sister Denise came up during that same time frame and the remaining three enjoyed having her here (I’m sure Feliz has enjoyed it as well!).
Two of my sisters and their families will be coming up this weekend to spend Easter with us. It will be nice to see them and I look forward to the laughs and talks I know we will have.

I pray that each and everyone of you will remember the sacrifice that our Lord, Saviour and friend - Jesus Christ gave for you and I.

1 Thessalonians 4:14 says: Since Jesus died and broke loose from the grave, God will most certainly bring back to life those who die in Jesus.

For any follower of Christ, the promise is simply this: The resurrection of Jesus Christ is proof and preview of our own! But can we trust the promise? Are you absolutely certain it's true? Is the resurrection a reality and are the claims of an empty tomb true? This is not only a good question...it is THE question! For as Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:17, "If Christ has not been raised, then your faith has nothing to it: you are still guilty of your sins." In other words, if Christ has indeed been raised, then His followers will join Him in Heaven; however, if He wasn't, then His followers are fools. The resurrection then, IS the keystone in the arch of our faith!

He IS risen INDEED!

Yea, what you said! AMEN!!!

Revelation 1:5-8
"From Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

Come, Lord Jesus....I am so ready!!

Behold He comes
Riding on the clouds
Shining like the sun
At the trumpet call
So lift your voice
It's the year of jubilee
And out of Zion's hill
Salvation comes!

Hi Vince and Family,

Happy Ester to you. I seen a Family Circle comic yesterday that shows the parent showing a child a Crusifix, and the child replied, "I would rather see Jesus in the manger than on the Cross." Me too, but I realize that both are needed in our faith. His birth of the Virgin and His Reserection from the grave. He has risen indeed. Michael Wilkinson
